How about you?

When I was planning my wedding I found it quite frustrating because I really didn't have the right resources, plus I ran out of money and had no help on my wedding day. It still came out beautiful, romantic and soo meaningful, that I can't complain.

So, what were your most frustrating moments when you planned your wedding? Or if you're planning now..what do you wish for that could be easier?

Dear Lov,

It was frustrating to say "No" to vendors. Every time I turned around, someone had some new wonderful item to sell me that would make my day perfect.

I had to say "No" in so many ways.

"No, I don't need personalized matchbooks."
"No, I don't need an engraved cake cutter."
"No, I don't need makeup."

The guest list.

I'm having a hard time keeping myself, my fiance, my parents, my future in-laws, and my guests happy.

"Let's just add your uncle Steve and his wife... it's just 2 more people."

"My parents will be in town that weekend. They love you! Can they come?"

"Babs and Jim got back together... it's just 1 more person."

"We recently rekindled our relationship with the Smiths... it's just 3 more people."

"Send Marge and Bill and Hank and Tina and X and X and X an invitation... but don't worry, they probably won't come."

AHHHHHHH!!!

I used a free self-planning program from jlkvisions. my friend turned me onto it and I can honestly say that it helped me to save a lot of money. I didn't hire a wedding planner but this program was kind of like having one anyway and since it was free...I thought (what the heck). I would reccomend it to EVERY bride.

The distance made it hard for us. We lived in San Diego at the time and got married in the Bay Area. So we had to plan everything from SD and fly up a few times to meet with vendors. It got tiring fast but the wedding ended up being beautiful.
