Winter Wedding - How to Do w/o the Snowflakes?!?!?: Posted: Jan 31, 2012 11:21 AM; I'm looking at a winter wedding and want it to be romantic and fun, but I dont want it to be about snowflakes and ice blue!!! What other themes or ideas have you guys done? I want a pop of color and was thinking sunset oragne and gold.....but how do I do it right?!?! thoughts....

Think in terms of rich, jewel tones, wood grains and colors one would find in a fireplace. Add various gold accents and you are there.

Remember the Christmas scenes in the Harry Potter movies? They were not all ice and snowflakes. They were saturated in rich, deep color.
