When did it hit you?

When did it hit you that you were actually getting married?

It still seems a little surreal to me. I hear some say it hit them when they put on their dress or when they mailed the invitations etc. i'm still waiting for some emotion to snap in but everything has been so easy so far. Knock on wood. Lol I don't think it will feel real until i'm walking down the aisle.

I felt it when I went wedding dress shopping. It was that stereotypical Hollywood moment where, as soon as the veil is on, the tears start, and you realize it's actually happening.

I KNEW I was getting married the whole engagement. However, the big "HOLLY COW this is happening" hit me about 5 minutes before the ceremony. Note, this was AFTER the formal pictures of DH and me had already been taken. DH said it hit him when he proposed and then again the day after the wedding.

Over a year latter I still have the "OMG I'm married" momments.

I also feel like it really hasn't 'hit' me yet - I am getting married July 31st and deep down inside I know I am getting married but I still have to tell my mind "In less than four weeks you will be a wife"

I felt it only after the ceremony when my husband and I were walking out the church. That moment was wondeful!!! :-)
