Is this a weird floor plan?

Hi again,

Just working on my floor plan, and I'm wondering, is it weird to have the bride and groom at the opposite end of the stage in the reception area? My venue has a huge staircase, and with this setup, we'd have our backs to it--we'd be at the top of the "T" (see link below). Shouldn't be too much of a flow problem, though, as only the bride and groom have their grand entrance down the staircase. Everyone else enters through the regular entryway on the ground floor in the bottom right corner.

Here's the floorplan I've come up with, as well as a photo of the room itself (same view of the room as the floorplan). Ideas???

I don't think it would be an issue. My only thing is your floorplan looks tight. You might have traffic flow issues at high traffic times, like serving dinner or when people get up to go to the dance floor. But that could just me, I need to actually be there to see the place ;)
