That being said... because of the above statement, the one I'd prefer would be the bottle opener...has more uses to me than the bottle stopper. Bottle Stoppers are things you get for specific people whose tastes you know.

I'm really for neither, but if it had to be one or the other I'd say for the opener. But I'd probably end up tossing it after a couple of months.

I got these heart shaped ones from Wedding Paper Divas. They have a whole page of other wedding favor options as well if some of the PP's have scared you away from the stopper/opener idea. If I had to choose between your two options, I would go with the wine stopper personally.
