How can I sell a BM dress I once wore?

Can anyone tell me a good website where I can sell a bm dress that I wore last year. I honestly have no use for it, it's a style that could be worn again by someone, but I don't like the color and it was very uncomfortable on me so I know I won't be wearing it again.

Also, how do I know what to price it as?

I'd try ebay or even www.bravobride.com. I'd look at other BMs dresses on there and see what they are priced at. Basically, you don't want it to be too high, but not too low either. On ebay at least, you can always relist it if it doesn't sell.

Why do you sell it? Maybe you need to wear it next time. Don't do that!

Thanks Pharm, I'll check those out. I saw on oncewed it suggest to sell 25%-50% less than the cost. It retails for $155, so I'm thinking of starting it at $115, does that sound like too much?

PP (can't remember your name), I AM NOT going to wear this again. It was uncomfortable and the color is very unflattering on me. Trust me, if I was going to wear it again, I wouldve a couple weeks ago when I was going to a wedding and had a wardwrobe malfunction 1.5 hours before the wedding, but I couldn't (lol) I ended up rushing out to get something else. Would you wear a dress that is uncomfortable and gives your body flaws?

Did you have to have it altered at all? If so, that can also affect it selling.

I'm really not sure about the pricing, but you can alsways try it and change it as needed.

Do you have a good resale shop in your area? If the dress has been cleaned, they might take it. Usually they take 50-60% of the sale price and you get the rest. Some of these shops are run by charities. If you donate, you get a tax write-off (which might be more than you get from a sale).

Try selling it on Ebay! Ebays the best place to sell stuff, also try Craigslist for someone local to pick it up.

If you can find a way to sell a used BM dress, I want to know how!

I have a BM dress thats been in my closet for a year - I wasn't in the wedding it was intended for - its unworn, unaltered, and you can still get the same style/color @ Davids. I paid $130 for it, and I've tried selling it on a local bridal website, the classifieds in our online newspaper, a garage sale, and no consignment shops around here will take BM dresses.

It could be used as a prom dress or a quincenera (sp?), but I've had no luck. Grr!
