I was wondering the same thing! I've looked around a lot online and so far I've liked their packages the best and have booked with them. I am mainly concerned with the photography.. I'm huge on quality of photos, so hopefully I don't end up disappointed!

I will let you know how it goes though, my wedding is next month!

Hi,

I haven't heard of the company that you have posted. However, we are getting married in Maui in two months, when we where researching for our wedding we looked at alot of companies and would highly recommend....

http://www.aperfectparadisewedding.com/

Kelly is fantastic and does weddings on each of the islands.

Another company you may like to look at is, (weddings on each of the islands):

http://www.whiteorchidwedding.com/

We chose Kelly for her personal touch and fantastic decor ideas. Between Kelly and Marie from Travel to Maui they have made planning our wedding a dream. So simple. I know Marie can accommodate all sorts of travel requirements. She has arranged our month stay and activities on three of the islands. She is really fantastic. She also managed our rehearsal dinner luau, spa days & gave us connections for the Golf day.

I hope you find this information helpful.

Kindest Regards
The future Mrs. Darrin

I have also hired Sweet Hawaii Weddings to do our wedding in October! I've been looking online for some reviews, but haven't had any luck in finding anything. I'm very excited to see how everyone's wedding goes! Photography included!

We found some. They have an A- with the BBB with only one problem that was solved. My friend found a bunch of info on them.

So far, its been good dealing with them. They are so laid back!

Which ceremony are you going with? We are going with the Simply Sacred Ceremony - love the idea of having the Hawaii chant and conch blowing.

Can I ask - what are you doing with your reception?

I just realized your date is almost exactly 2 months before ours! And the PP getting married in Maui is getting married the same day we are! Too cool!

Well that's great news! They do seem really laid back, and very nice to deal with. We're looking into Luana Hills Golf Course, and have a tenative reservation for a reception dinner there... Either that, or we're going to a Luau! :)

I think we chose the Barefoot Oahu Beach wedding - but I added photography, hair and makeup, flowers in the sand and a Polynesian fire dancer - that we'll probably have to cancel due to the fact that I don't have a good place for a fire dancer anymore! :(

Why not go with one of the public beaches? Or do you want a little more privacy?

And that sucks about having to get rid of the fire dancer! Maybe you can exchange for a musician instead?

We are doing the luau the night before the wedding with everyone sans a rehearsal dinner and our reception is at Roy's - Waikiki. Its a nice restaurant that has private dining. Their lounge holds about 30ppl and is a minimum of 2000. But the meals are anywhere from 35 - 79 bucks a person. And you don't have to select your entree before hand but have a set menu of like 4 - 7 items.

My parents used: http://www.vacationrentalagent.com
for their house rental near a beach. I wish you luck with it all!

just a note: all beaches in Hawaii are public per their law...even the beaches at the resorts are public. (Some of the roads might be private, but every beach is public)

Luana hills is really nice - I live on Oahu and went to a wedding there once. A word of advice - make sure that whatever area you have has an option for being covered in case of rain - it rains there often - even if it's just sprinkles.

Good luck!

Everything has been rearranged! :) We've moved the wedding ceremony to Waimanalo Beach, and the reception will take place at the Pearl Country Club in Aiea. It's a full sit-down dinner, and I believe it's right around $35.00/ per person. We're able to have music until 10:00pm, and then after the reception - the wedding party will hop into a suv-limo and head into Honolulu for the evening for more fun! :)

I can't believe it's only a little over 4 months away. Time sure flies!

Sounds great!

I am thinking of picking up some umbrellas to be on the safe side. Personally I would love it to rain but sure no one else wants it to.
