I found a program on the Arbor Day website that allows people to buy sponsorships for trees to be replanted in a national forest that burned to the ground last summer. Its only $10 for 10 trees, and my FH and I both love the idea. The foundations sends a certificate that can be displayed on the gift table telling all the guests what we've done with our favor money. Is this a good idea? How will people respond to not getting a gift? And do I still have to give something at the reception? My mother wants to give little tulle circles filled with M&Ms, which I think is tacky and cheap (not to upset anyone, just my personal opinion). Any thougts? Thanks!!!
