Yay! Here's my best shot at a Classy, Elegant Hippie-ish wedding!

Bride's Dress

Bride's Headpiece (This was too perfect for me to not put in!!!)

Bridesmaids Dresses

Men's Outfits

Flowers

Ceremony Site

Reception Site (I actually used to work here. It's called the Mitchell Park Domes and all of this is INSIDE! The first picture is from the Tropical dome. The second picture is of the Domes themselves from the outside. The third picture is from the show dome which has a different display every few months. The last one is of the arid dome... we actually had a really cute hippie ceremony in there once... they just had a man playing a guitar for the music... it was so sweet! I couldn't find a picture of the lobby, where dinner is hosted, anywhere online... and it doesn't look very nice during actual public hours... but trust me when I say that they make it look BEAUTIFUL! You get all the benefits of being outdoors without any of the weather conditions!)

Grooms Cake

Wedding Cake (I figured there wasn't too much color so far, and what's a hippy wedding if it doesn't have color? But I still had to stay with the 'classy' theme so I picked this one instead of some of the more outrageous ones)

Edit - Adding: Centerpieces!

http://blog.mindbites.com/wp-content/uploads/boston_blooms.bmp

Whew!!! That was so much fun! Okay, so I'm going to be totally selfish with the next theme because I'm in love with it and am desperately hoping that I can sell FH on it.

How about a 1930's hollywood-esk Art Deco theme with deep purple and gold?

Wow... an aviation themed wedding... this was SUPER SUPER difficult

Wedding invites (that look like boarding passes) But make the colors Red and navy Blue

http://www.labellarue.com/images/index_image/boarding_pass.jpg

I'm fairly certain this isn't what you had in mind... so by all means, post your own ideas PLEASE... but the best way I could figure to really make an aviation type style work without sticking the bridesmaids in those slutty stewerdess costumes they sell around Halloween was to get a more 1940's WWII theme kind of going...

So this would be the bridesmaids dress... because it kind of gave me that 1940's feel.
http://www.trashydiva.com/trashydiva/40SDRESSssred1.JPG

This is the formal attire for the U.S. Airforce... So stick the white one on the groom and the blue ones on the groomsmen
http://usafflagranks.com/usaf_mess_dress_uniform_files/image005.jpg

Yeah, I would totally stick my mother in a less revealing version of this... with a top underneath the blazar and the skirt a few inches shorter... but then again, my mom's positively gorgeous.

http://www.style.com/slideshows/fashionshows/F2006CTR/APRIVE/RUNWAY/00110m.jpg

I'd probably go with this dress because it's simple and clean... it's got a very vintage-ee, classic feel to it.

RosemaryLeighback.jpg image by madeleine_dellal

This would be the venue (The Museum of Flight in Seattle)
http://www.nasa.gov/images/content/210364main_FF_Seattle-ENTER.jpg

This is a picture of the interior as it was for another wedding there... but i would add centerpieces that pull in the red and navy colors.

http://www.perfectoutdoorweddings.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/events11.jpg
You can also have your ceremony there in a different room

http://www.myseattlewedding.com/seattle/images/brochures/museum_of_flight_4.jpg

But if I were having an aviation themed wedding, I would so get married out on the tarmac... but apparently not many people have that idea because I can't find a picture of it.

This would be the grooms cake
http://www.herecomestheblog.com/Airplane%20Wedding%20Cake.jpg

This would be the wedding cake

http://theflirtyguide.com/pages_ideas/images/the_flirty_bride/airplane_cake_topper/airplane_cake_topper.jpg

bouquets

Centerpieces... but i would replace the carnations with a different type of red flower. I'm not a fan of carnations.
http://budgetdreams.files.wordpress.com/2006/06/8350.jpg

I figure that the real fun would be in the favors... A candy buffet

Airplane Pop Fan

http://family.go.com/images/partners/wonderTime/000/002/134/plane.jpg

However, I would definitely stay far, far away from serving those packages of airplane food... ew.

I hope this worked alright.

Next Theme... give me a few minutes... lol

ETP: How about an ELEGANT 1920's speakeasy, jazz type theme with deep, rich colors?

Definitely something Wilma would wear
animal-print-formal-gown-animal-print-liquid-fabric-gown-designer-evening-dresses-unique-prom-dresses

Tropical Birds Vest and Bow Tie Set

The couple says their vows under T-Rex then dines in the Jungle

And of course the couple hops into a Jeep to go on their honeymoon/expedition

So I hope you guys enjoed my prehistoric wedding. I want the next theme to be a Greek or Roman Mythology inspired wedding. (I know that's sooo random but I'm watching Beowulf and can't think of anything else :)

I had a lot of trouble with the RENT theme, so I took some liberties, while still keeping in tune with Broadway and did a wedding based on PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. Hope that's okay.
