What flowers work best and will stand up to heat and wind on the beach?? I'm getting married next June and am unsure which flowers will work out the best.

Thanks!

Silk is good, but if you want to go with live flowers, something in the lily family (Calla are my favorite) would hold up. Enjoy your wedding. :-)

I just got married Sept. 12th and had a beach wedding. It was about 85
degrees out and was a little windy. My bouquet had calla lilies, roses
and hydrangeas and they held up perfectly and looked beautiful as well; however, my girls only had 3 stems of orange calla lilies. Some of the girls flowers were wilting before we even walked down the aisle and the groomsmen all had 1 miniature calla lily and the best man's flower fell off of his boutoneirre. I don't blame that on the flower though, I was told the flowers were sitting in a vehicle in the sun for an hour or 2 before hand. I've posted pictures below of my bouquet and of the bridesmaid's as well.

When is my wedding

Most fresh flowers that are well hydrated will be just fine. Have a great wedding!
