What should our groomsmen wear?

My fiance are having trouble deciding what him and the groomsmen should wear, so I was hoping to get some other opinions. Our colors are chocolate brown and apple green. The bridesmaids are going to be wearing chocolate brown dresses, with some sort of apple tie around the waist. We have a couple ideas for the men, but were not sure how they will look. 1) The groomsmen wear chocolate brown tuxedos with green ties and vests and my fiance will wear a black tuxedo, black vest and green tie, 2) The men will all wear black tuxedos, the groomsmen will have brown vests and ties, and my fiance will wear a black vest and green tie or 3) any other ideas are welcomed!

Are you completely sold on the tux thing? Because brown suits with variations of apple green ties looks good. I had a friend who recently did this for her wedding and the men looked great!

My first instinct is go all brown or all black but that could be apersonal opinion on black and brown clashing.

Have you considered a victorian style brown suite with a green cravet and sash instead of vests and ties?

i also dont really like brown and black together, but if you like that, go ahead.

however, have you thought of a tan suit/tux? I personally think that the chocolate brown, apple green and tan/khaki would look awesome together!!!

the green and brown go, the green and tan go, and the tan and brown goes! so, it would look really good together....really nice and natural looking! it will also balance the two highly contrasting colors too!

then, you could still have your girls in the brown dress with the green sash. then they guys could be in the tan suits with either green or brown vests! maybe you keep the guys in a green vest, but your fiance in a brown vest? that way he is a little different, but still looks similar
