Okay, so i picked up my wedding gown on monday. it took ages to come in and then ages for me to get into the city to pick it up, so it's been about a year since i've seen the dress. i love my dress. it's perfect, amazing, i love it.
a different sales clerk was there as i picked out my veil. when i ordered the dress the store owner had picked out my favourite veil - a single layer, very straight, elbow-length veil. this time, the lady said they had nothing shorter than a waist/not-quite-fingertip one. and it was two layers. white edging. a tiny bit of poof to it. anyway, my mom got all weepy about how 'wonderful' it looked with the dress, and the lady insisted it was the best veil to compliment my dress, and somehow i found myself giving into the moment and buying the veil and headpiece both insisted were "perfect" and now i feel sick.
am i being stupid? is this just a veil and no big deal? i've always wanted a very plain veil that i'd wear all night and now i'm afraid i'll be anxious to take it off. i'm worried how the lining with look. i hate white edging to veils. i don't know why i purchased it. there are no refunds. help. do i just suck it up?
