Hi...I put down $1500 on an Adele Wechsler gown & made the mistake of showing my fiance pics of me in it before the alterations. He grimaced & said, "that's nice..." It really is a beautiful gown but I don't think I have the body to pull it off. I was just so enamoured with the dress I think I didn't really pay close attention to how it looked on me, if that makes sense. So now what should I do? Work hard to lose a lot of weight? (I'm 5'4" & 137 pds) or try to get a refund on the deposit & get something else? Or will it look better with alterations?
