a bunch of my friends and i used to make these cookies when we were little and now no one knows the recipe. we do remember that you heat karo syrup and peanut butter in a pan and add rice krispies, among other things, then drop them on wax paper until they cool. any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I found this online:

No-Bake
Peanut Butter Balls w/Rice Krispies Cereal

Your children will enjoy making these nutritious cookies,
and you will like them because they only have 4 ingredients!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup peanut butter (Use reduced fat for less calories.)

1/4 cup honey

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

2-3 cups of crispy rice cereal

Combine the peanut butter, honey, and vanilla. Stir in enough
cereal to make balls. (Hint: Moisten your hands before rolling the mixture into
balls.) Place the balls on waxed paper (or on cereal liner bags) and chill.

Maybe just substitute the karo syrup for the honey....

Do they have oatmeal in them? If so, they are called oatmeal drop cookies and they are very easy to make. Just google it for an easy recipie.
