Did she say why she wants to change the style of the dress? keep in mind that she is going to be heavier then she is now and is probably concerned about that. If you are dead set on having everyone in the same dress then tell her just that. I am sure she will be ok with it.

Well, understand that the dress may really not work for someone who is pregnant.  Talk to her about it, indicate to her that you would prefer to have everyone in the same dress.  but if she is not comfortable, it's not cool to ask her to step down.

I'e heard too many stories about a pregnant BM asked to step down and then they lose the child (obviously, I'm not wishing that one ANYONE or suggesting you are either).  So stop and think about what is most important to you.  The dress or having your friend stand up with you on your wedding day.

Good luck.

how far away is your wedding?? You do have to keep in mind that alot of pregnant women don't even show until 4 months even 5 months for some. As long as she eats healthy and stays active (which is good for baby anyway) she may not even need a different dress if your wedding is not more than 4 months away. She may just need to have it let out a size. My cousin was in a wedding 3 1/2 months pregnant and never had extra alterations and no-one ever knew (the news wasn't out yet lol).

My McDreamy and My McDog ... what else could a girl ask for??
