I don't know about the rest of you, but to my eye they have finally featured a gown on the home page that is pretty, that a lot of brides would actually wear. Just one question -- it strikes me as kind of dumb for a designer to put fabric flowers on the gown (in this case at the waist; I think the previous balloon sleeved gown had something similar), considering that the bride will probably be carrying a bouquet. What do you ladies think? EveT
It is a very pretty gown. I do tend to agree with you about a floral sash accent not being necessary because it'll probably be covered anyway by the bouquet. But then, the bouquet doesn't get carried the whole time at the reception, right?
It is a pretty gown & I like the accent on the side. I guess it's more for pictures & the reception. =P High fashion is rarely practical. Funny, my gown doesn't have an accent like this, but if I would have found one the thought of the bouquet never would have crossed my mind.
It's a very pretty dress. Honestly, I like the detail on the dress. Many couture dresses go for looks over functionality. I like the detail for when you are not carrying your flowers. That is probably only for an hour out of the day you have your flowers anyways.
