Well, it seems like everyone is taking the entrance thing as fun as we are!  I love it!  We are walking in to "Ovature".  Not sure of the artist, but my father has it in his DJ collection.  Most people have no idea what I am talking about when I say that, but it is from the old Bugs Bunny cartoons.  It goes a little something like this "Ovature, Curtain, Lights, this is it, the height of heights, and oh what heights we'll hit, on with the show this is it!"  Then further into other verses, but you get the idea.

I can't wait to hear more of your creative ideas!

My FH was a pro wrestler and he wants to use his old entrance music.  I hate heavy metal so I don't think this is gonna happen.  I was thinking of "Stuck In The Middle With You".

WoooooHoooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

My wedding was on Aug 5th!!  I am so glad it is finally over!!!  All the work really did pay off...

We came in to Barry White's Love's Theme.  I wanted to come in to "Are We Ready to Rumble" but...  Had to be reminded that the dj was announcing while the music was going, so we chose an instrumental song and it really worked perfectly.  The wedding party was all lined up on the stage and after our entrance to the reception, we rolled into Kool and the Gang "Celebration" and each member of the wedding party (including my hubby and I) danced.  When that was over, we went into our first dance.  Our song was "Bless the Broken Roads" by Rascal Flatts.  We also had an Anniversary Dance, which was really nice and the guests loved it.  The longest married couple had just celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary.  We cut the cake to the tune of That's Amore by Dean Martin and our last dance was Always and Forever by Heatwave.

Remember to have fun at your wedding!!!!!!!!!

I'm surprised nobody brought up, "Get the Party Started" by Pink and "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" by Starship.I can't decide between those two for mine.

We are going to enter to Keith Urban's "Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me?"  It's such a happy song and we love country music even though we live in the Chicago area!

Completely in love with my exact OPPOSITE! Cool

I think we're going to use Red Hot Chilli Peppers version of Love Rollercoaster.  It's such a fun song.

We still have a while to choose though, and LOVE music, so we may change our minds.  We shall see...

Hi!

My wedding was Aug 5th and I originally wanted to come in to the "Are we Ready to Rumble" song.  We are both gigantic football fans!  Then it was suggested that we enter to an instrumental song so that the dj would not have to "fight" with the lyrics as he was introducing the wedding party and us.  SO... being a child of the 70's, i chose Barry White's Love Theme which is a beautiful song that is played by a symphonic orchestra...  We were going to roll into the First Dance (God Bless the Broken Roads by Rascal Flatts) but wanted to get the guests all ready to party and we wanted for us and the wedding party to do this.  We had the dj play Kool and the Gang's Celebration and we all danced separately on the dance floor.  It was so much fun!!!  After each one of us had "jammed" a bit, this one eight year old girl came up to the dance floor and starting doing some sort of jiggly break dancing and then the Flower Girl joined her. The crowd loved it!!!  After that, my hubby and I had our First Dance together.

Good luck on your wedding!!!

I'm not sure I've been to a wedding where they WP was announced to instrumental, but I guess it makes sense. We've only just started thinking about it (and the wedding's in a month!) but we're thinking something beatles. I like Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts club band or all you need is love. I also like Another one bites the dust, highway to the danger zone or red hot chili peppers love roller coaster... but I suspect we will go with the beatles. They're one of FH's favorites.
