My Soon-to-be Fiance and I met through mutual friends in the Air Force (I am a civilian). I was seeing one of his friends, nothing serious (I was just getting over a huge break-up with a 4-year on-off relationship :/) And his friend deployed a few months after we met, and we started hanging out. After the first real date between us I knew he was The One :) He is everything I've ever wanted and everything i was missing in my other relationships and so much more. We have a ring picked out, and I am patiently (kinda ;)) waiting... My Soon-to-be fiance will be deploying to Afghanistan over our one-year anniversary so we hope to be engaged before deployment and married soon after his return to the States. I am so excited to marry the love of my life and my best friend, and cannot wait to start our lives together!!
I love outdoor venues and I hope to start looking within the next few months, I think a spring wedding in Arizona would be incredible. Other than that the details have not been decided yet but I can't wait to start planning!!
