We had been together for almost a yr to the date in Nov of 2009 when he took me to Gunterville State Park for "pictures". He set the camera on video as I stood there posing for a picture and it caught the whole proposal on video :) A sailboat sails into the video right after he popped the question. His dad passed away when he was 11, and later I find out that his dad loved sailboats, so we like to think it was a sign from his dad giving his blessing upon our upcoming marriage. :) Since it is still over a year away, I like to keep my options open, but I do have a place in mind, Quail Creek Golf Resort. It seems perfect thus far. |
