I have the most wonderful fiance who's the absolute BEST and I feel so incredibly lucky, we live in South-Africa and in April 2009 went on holiday to Cape Town, whilst posing for our "supposed" photo which he sneakily arranged, asking one of the tourists to take a photo whilst the camera was rolling, he proposed!!! It's fabulous having this on record as I was in shock for so long I couldn't even remember him going down on his knees until I saw the video LOL : ) ! It was the perfect engagement, and the ring ... GORGEOUS, he designed it with designer Jenna Clifford and it even has antique graving, he knows me so well, like they say: the proof is in the pudding! We've booked a venue in Johannesburg called The Moon and Sixpence, which is owned by a British family for 30 January 2010, it's the perfect romantic venue with the right balance of old and new mixed with a tuscan feel, there will be no more than 120 guests. I've seen the most gorgeous couture gown from the My Lady collection, and have found a designer specialising in couture gowns, Biji Couture! Oh the theme for our wedding is what our relationship is about: FUN .... GLITZY ... FABULOUS!! We both have a love for vintage things, my idol is Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe. |
