My fiance and I met each other in the Army National Guard. We were been friends for a whole year. Two months after his ex walked out on him, he asked me out and we've been together since June 2, 2011. Although we haven't dated that long, but we've been friends for a whole year now and he told me that I am "the one". He gave me a promise ring which I wore until he proposed to me on May 19, 2012.
