My husband and I co-planned our event. We knew what we wanted, and a lot of times where we disagreed on the initial concept, we compromised until we both had elements that we liked--and we ended up with something amazing that neither of us would have conceived on our own. (The design in my signature is an example of that). Our event was Celtic-inspired, with a handfasting and claddaghs being very prominent. My husband wore a kilt, and I wore a traditional wedding dress. We had musicians playing Celtic music while our guests were seated. It was a beautiful event that very much represented us. Together we had a wonderful time planning our wedding -- so much that he wants to do it again.
