Our first full day together was spent at his family farm. We had the most amazing time! So what better way to capture that moment forever than to get engaged!! He took me on a picnic to the farm and we sat out by the pond. After we ate we took a little walk and he took my hands and lead me to this huge beautiful tree where he had carved "WILL YOU MARRY ME" I was so taken back by the time it took to do this that I didn't even notice the ring in his hand. Of course I said YES! He said that it was something that would be there forever and a place where we could always go to as well as our children (one day) and family. It was so sweet!
Nothing major planned so far. We know we want to get married on the beach and celebrate with our close friends and family. Details to come....
