My name is Jackie and I live in Gainesville, FL.  My finance's name is Clay and he also lives in Gainesville, FL.  I'm 23 years old and I work at SunTrust Bank and he is 24 and works at a software company in town.  We're getting married on Columbus Day weekend, October 11, 2008.  I am so excited. 

We were engaged on Christmas Day, 2007.  Clay proposed to me at my house surrounded by my family (mom, sister, aunt, grandmother, and mini-schnauzer).  I was seriously suprised and wasn't expecting it at all.  My mom and grandma had known for about a month.

We were married on October 11, 2008 at Paynes Prairie State Park in Gainesville, FL.  It was a wonderful day.  The rain held off and the sun came out right as we started saying our vows.

Our menu included: Sonny's BBQ.  We had smoked Turkey, cole slaw, macaroni and cheese, baked beans and corn bread.  We also had tea and lemonaid.

The Cake is carrot and yellow with raspberry filling.
