Wedding roles reversed

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I I need some advice. My fiancee and myself have talked about doing something really different with our wedding: a traditional, or as traditional as we can get but where the roles for the bride and groom are reversed.

Basically, I am going to be the bride while my fiancee is going to be the groom. So what I am saying is that I am going to be wearing the expensive wedding gown, engagement and wedding rings which are designed for women and sized for a women's ring finger. For the wedding vows, I'll be the one saying the vows that are normally meant for women to say. This is something that we have talked about for awhile and we both have agreed to this way.

I would like any advice from the community about this to see if we should continue to plan our wedding this way or if we should stop and plan it like most other weddings.
