Has anyone bought Mia Donna Hybrid Diamond??: Posted: May 21, 2012 12:12 AM; Hello everyone!!

I'm looking for loose diamond for my engagement ring.
But we dont have a big budget so My boyfriend and I decided to buy Stimulamt Diamond for now!!

I researched a lot then I found Mia Donna.
Has anyone bought Mia Donna Hybrid diamond?

If someone has that hybrid diamond, could you pleas tell me how well the Diamond hybrid hold up over time? Does it get cloudy or become no longer brilliant?

This is the most I want to ask.......
If I bought hybrid diamond then I made my ring, will people find out that the stone is not earth made?�

Pleas let me know!!!

If you can't afford a diamond, just buy a CZ for $1.50. It would be cheaper to replace it everytime it got scratched than to pay for the hybrid crap. As a Gemologist this product angers me.

A cz should work OK for a person with a low budget, but be prepared to have to replace it at least every six months to a year, depending on how you wear.

What your really paying for is the name but it's really just a Cubic Zirconium all dressed up. Personally, I would buy a cubic zirconium ring. It's very beautiful and lasts long. :)

They sell Asha simulants (CZ) that are expensive as well. They are really beautiful...but Mia Donna is so expensive. Make sure the company you buy from has a lifetime warranty. And, above all, don't worry about what people ask/don't ask. Personally, I don't think many will truly know. It's the low quality yellow-tinged diamonds that get the bad comments, not a simulant that people don't question.
