Beach Wedding Jewelry....Help!

I have a very classic mermaid style dress for my destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas. I would like to make my jewelry more soft and beachy feeling. Does anyone have any ideas, websites???? In a major jewelry slump. Frown

I ordered pearl sets for my BM's from a seller on ebay and they had a lot of other nice sets that would match for a beach wedding.

The newest InStyle magazine has an article on beach-inspired jewelry. The items that they show are NOT cheap, but you might get some inspiration. There's lots of shell, mother of pearl, pearl, coral, and other beachy jewelry on the market right now, so you should be able to find something unique.

If you are on a beach, then by all means go with natural stones, or pearls.  I would suggest a simple pearl pendant with long dangles in pearls too.  Depending on the neckline of your dress and your hair.  Pearls will be a keepsake too.  I found the bridal person so helpful at an online store where I got my jewelry at.  They let me buy several pieces to try on and just let me return what I did not like, but I liked them ALL.  Try www.moonriverpearls.com and see what you think.  The stuff was high class, but I was able to afford it.

Have you thought of maybe buying jewelry when you get there?  They will probably have some beautiful, authentic stones and crystals.

Just an idea, but maybe you could try some jewelry with turquoise in it? That's one of the first things I think of when I think of beachy jewelry...

With a beach wedding, you can go a couple routes:

1. Use colored stones to bring in a modern pop.
2. Keep things soft with crystal or pearl.
3. Choose a chandelier earring or a style that elicites movement and looks great from different angles.

Here is an example of pearl earrings that look great even when the wind is blowing:

This is an example of a crystal earring that will sparkle but be as soft as the sand:
