Well....we are going to move our wedding date so that we can still have a nice wedding and we won't have to scrimp so much on it. I'm thinking about Sunday November 11, 2012. I have to check with our venue to see if it's available that day but hopefully it is. Well I just wanted to pop in and let you guys know. :)

have things changed, colors/theme because you are having your wedding later in the year?!
November is a nice year and you can almost do a winter theme as well.

Have a good weekend!

PS: i can almost say we are getting married in a year in a half!!!!!! or its less than a year in a half.. LOL or NEXT SUMMER!! hurrah.. getting closer and closer!!!! :)

Well November was just an idea that I had. My FH wants to just go with 6/2/12 and he says that we'll figure it out but I thought that it would be better to wait but now I don't know. I kind of just want to be married already!

And being back in college is not as easy as it was the first time! I have no time for anything!

Also my FH's one relative is very ill right now and we're not sure if she's going to make it.

As of the moment we're staying with 6/2/12 because that plan is kind of already in place. We'll see what happens over the next few days......there's a lot going on.

Oh, and the headband that I ordered finally came in and I didn't really like it so I gave it to my daughter but the seller has a feather clip in brown that I might order this weekend.

sucks about the headband.. cometimes its hard to know what youre ordering until you get it and realized it wasnt what you thought it was. Im soo glad my flsks came in and exactly what we wanted.. even the ties!

Theres not much more we need. We have christmas lights and the cord is green. I wanted white but since it'll be under the tulle, you wont be able to see it, so it works out.

Ive ran out of things to buy for the wedding,... LOL Most of the decorations will be flowers.. I made have some done up fake. My mom said my cousins were fake and I had no idea! It was very nice and she did them up with her sister. Blue, silver and white were her colors.

Oh my.. so when my parents came down last week, oh my.. my mom was spilling the beans about what was going on in the family. I was like wow the wedding went good and there was no bitching and complianing.. but there certainly was.. LOL
Way too much to go in detail but again very childish and self centered.. thats my moms side of the family. I am soo glad I am not like any of them.. LOL :)

We are just focusing on what we will wear and then either before or after christmas, get our wedding bands, plus figure out the venue but I think we already know where we will have it, at the Press Club as I mention earlier. :)

I hear ya, I just want to get married already!!! LOL

The headband was supposed to be mostly a light blue-ish color but the one that I got was the exact same black one that was in the photos. Oh well. It was still really pretty and my daughter liked it so it didn't go to waste. I like the brown feather clip better that she has for sale now and it's only $2.99. A clip would be a little easier to work with for hair style options too rather than a headband.

Oh you're lucky! There's a TON more that we need!!

I want to do the white xmas lights too. I'll have to get them next year though. Yeah, the green won't matter.

You'll have to keep me posted about the flowers. We may wind up using fake ones too.....who knows! LOL

We are dealing with a few family issues/dramas ourselves. I try to stay out of it as much as I can. Every family has that one person (hopefully only one) who you can never please. Well I guess that it's nice that you thought the wedding went so good. :P

Yay, my main thing for this year is getting my dress. I was planning on dress shopping over the summer.

There's just SO much going on right now, the last thing that I have time for is planning this wedding. But as my FH pointed out - there's usually always a lot going on with us and if we move the date there will be stuff going on then too. He's right. We started planning for June 2nd and we should just continue with that, even if it means getting married with just us or ten people or fifty people. My FH said - we'll figure it out, it's not like it's happening tomorrow, we have time. He was right again. I hate that! LOL Just kidding. :D

Well I'm off to study. How exciting.....NOT!! LOL

Not too much going on here. I did pick up a spool of brown ribbon though for the cake knife set and for the toasting glasses. It's super skinny dark brown satin ribbon that I found at the dollar store.

HAVE A NICE WEEKEND!! :)

Awesome deal.

Ive been refraining from buy anymore for the wedding .. Ive been saving the money for either house fun/ wedding. Be surprised with all that pocket change, adds up pretty quick. :) We also just dont have storage to store anything big. But like I said, just mostly flowers will be used to decorate, we may use fake for our bridesmaid flowers. Mine will be real.. haha :) You really cant tell, I couldnt tell my cousins were. So we just gotta figure out what flowers we want to use for their bouquets and I dont want them to be any like mine. LOL I just dont want to take away the look of my bouquet and be able to corparate other summer flowers as well. :P

We are still back and forth on where we will get married. I just wanna know nooooooow.. :)

I know how you feel. I like things to be sorted out too. It makes me anxious when they're not. I keep a jar on our dresser in the bedroom that we dump our change into- but we usually put everything on our debit cards so it doesn't fill up that quickly for us. That's a really good idea though. Change does add up fast!

I ordered the brown feather clip for my hair. I should have it in about three weeks (it's coming from china).

And I decided on our centerpieces! I think that they will be perfect for our outdoor/casual/rustic wedding.

I really like the yellow in them too so I may do them the exact same way as in the picture.

Not much going on here either. We are getting slammed with snow and freezing rain right now. The kids have another snow day today. I better get going.....I have homework to do. UGH! Just kidding. LOL :)

I found a hairstyle that I like, but I would pull back the one side a little and add the clip.

Photobucket

I made up a list last night of everything that I've bought so far and how much it cost. I'm going to make sure that we stick to our budget!

BUDGET BREAKDOWN

Save-the-dates $5.67
Postcard invitations $6.54
Cake topper $2.50
50 chair favor boxes 0.25
Gratuity Cards 1.00
Cake bags $1.99
Wood letters $2.64
Favor stickers (for chair boxes) $3.35
Brown notebook "guestbook" $4.74
Cake server set $5.95
3 packages of coffee filters $3.00
Tears of joy labels $3.07
Labels for the silverware bunches $3.35
Labels for the jellybean favors $3.35
White ribbon for the favors $1.85
Toasting Glasses $0.99
Brown ribbon $1.00
Brown feather hair clip $2.99
10 bouquet picks $3.95
1,000 pieces diamond confetti $1.75
Book (for craft project) $1.00
________________________________________

TOTAL $60.93

So far so good!

We have also 100% decided on doing a cupcake cake. My FH just liked the idea so much that I have to do one. We may do a small cake for the cake cutting too but that's not a definite. We'll probably just go with a typical stand for the cupcakes but I'm looking for other (more interesting) options too.

How many different flavors do you think that we should do?

I was thinking about doing vanilla, chocolate, lemon and red velvet.

I am set 100% on doing these centerpieces too.

Photobucket

I'm just not sure about what color to do the paper roses. I like the yellow but I thought that it might look out of place since nothing else will be yellow. But does it really matter?

I'm still stuck on what to do for my bouquet. My FMIL had suggested using dried flowers or dried lavendar a long time ago when I told her we were going for a rustic wedding. I may look into that.

We are getting slammed with more snow and freezing rain today and another storm is supposed to hit us on Tuesday. UUGGGHH!

I hope that you're having a nice snow-free weekend!! :D

Here's a bride with a lavender bouquet that's nice. I really like her whole wedding. I especially like her Betsey Johnson necklace.

I'm thinking about getting a dress that's not white. I like this dress but in the color champagne.

Photobucket

It's on sale now too....but I'm not going to order it yet. It's just a thought.

I bought two packages of cardstock yesterday. The one set is all browns (light and dark) and the other set is brown and light blues. They were $5 each.

IMGhttp://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z382/jaymee122/NikonPics008.jpg[/IMG]

I made my T.O.J. things today. I still have to put the tissues in them and get a basket or something for them but otherwise they're finished. I just used regular white computer paper that I had instead of spending the money on more cardstock. I cut up one sheet of the cardstock in a taupe color to make little bands to wrap around them and then I added the labels that I had got from Vista Print. I only made 30 of them but I'm sure that it will be plenty.

IMGhttp://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z382/jaymee122/NikonPics012.jpg[/IMG]

Total Cost of this DIY Project

White Paper - $0 Used paper that I already had
Labels - $3.07
One piece of paper for the bands - $0.25
Tissues - $1
Basket -$1
____________________________
TOTAL - $5.32

Sorry.....I am on a major stay under budget kick right now!

HAVE A NICE DAY!! :)
