Books, books and MORE books!: Posted: Dec 2, 2010 4:16 PM; I know that there used to be a book worm thread on here and I know that someone recently had started a new thread about books - but I can't find either when I search.

I need more author ideas. I'm literally running out of books.

I loved the Larsson books - I tend to gravitate toward suspense/thrillers. I've read Mariah Stewart, Lisa Jackson, etc.

I've gotten into Alex Kava's series with Maggie O'Dell.

But I also branch out from there - I like Jodi Picoult.

Any ideas anyone? Thanks!

If you've never read them, they're FULL of suspense! There's a few that are only mediocre, but overall, I've enjoyed every single one I've read

They're all historical fiction, and very well-written; easy to get drawn in, and come out with a different perspective on historical eras/events

But it might be time to go back - I'm sure he's had plenty more since I read them!! :-)

I really enjoyed The Hunger games and the other two books in the series by Suzanne Collins.

Uglies, Pretties, and Specials by Scott Westerfield (those are individual books in the series)

I adored My Sister's Keeper, I cried my eyes out.

Marley and Me

The sookie stackhouse/Southern vampire mysteries series

The luxe novels

and much much more...These are mostly Kindle purchases

I like VC Andrews novels but those may be a bit much for some people and historical novels.
