Thanks Cheetah! I will add a few more. Our photographer told us to bring the kids with us and she would do some family pics at no additional charge. I might add one of those too!

I am not having the wedding party AND their dates at the head table. For one, it would look ridiculous (I'm having a large wedding party), and two, it's totally your option. Some people do this, but many do not. Not sure why your florist would insinuate it is done this way...as it is often not.

I would agree that having the WP and their dates at the headtable is definitely not mandatory. It's up to the bride and groom, it's whatever they wish.

Yea I agree with everyone else. It's up to you and your fh as to who sits at the wedding table. This lady is losing her mind if she is telling you what to do on YOUR wedding day. Just do what makes you happy and if she doesn't like what you want then drop her and go somewhere else for business.

I agree with everyone else! You can have who you want at your table. I think that "proper" etiquette says that they should be sitting with their dates, however, I have NEVER seen this done. They are only sitting at the head table pretty much long enough to eat then they get up anyway. You do what you want to do. We are not having dates/spouses sit at our head table. It would take up way too much space.

I can't believe how close the wedding is coming, but I feel like I have pretty much everything done and ready that I want it to be here already!!!!

I mean, all I need is the limo, I think we'll book that this week. I got in the invitations. I bought gifts for all of the wedding party, expect for 1. Wedding favors we have, I'm just waiting on the organza bag I ordered a sample from a place to see if they will fit our favors. We just need to to do the wedding programs, the escort cards, and the menu cards, and I think we're done!!!! I still also have to pick out the cake and do a cake tasting. And finalize the menu. My fiance is so impressed at how organized and how cool I am. Totally not a bridezilla! I think I will be nervous the day of, but not enough to get me in a bad mood.

Just want it here already!!!!!

Anyone else ready to do it already?

I cant wait to get it over with as well. The wait is driving me insane and the saving up money is even worse! I just can't wait until everything is done and I can go back to living a normal life LOL. All this planning is getting to me. I have sooo much left to do. I had a dream the other night that it was wedding day and I didn't even do the seating charts yet or do the programs or even get the favors! I still need to do all of that and so much more! I see that I only have about 4 months and it makes me stressed. Plus school is getting to me too! AHHHH I just want to be laying in the white sands of Mexico on our honeymoon and know that IT'S ALL OVER!

I'm so ready for October to get here too!! :) I agree with Cheetah. Saving up the money is the hardest part. I'd love to spend it on something else but I know we need that money for the wedding. I still have to mail out our invitations, order favors, and pick out our flowers. I hope the next 5 months fly by. I know everyone is anxious for their big day. I'm ready to be married already!!

I am sooo not ready for time to get here! lol I still have waaaay too many DIY projects to do. I have no motivation right now. I think I am overwhelmed by what needs to be done and that is making me drag my feet! lol I will get it all done though. I work well under pressure.

I'm still trying to figure out a place for us to have the wedding. Originally we were going to do it at Valley of Fire... but we waited too long and all the spots were booked. Talk about a busy day for weddings! My second choice was the Welcome to Las Vegas sign, but there are only 10 parking spots there and with it being so busy for weddings that day, I have a feeling we'd have a hard time getting everyone to be able to park there at the same time.

Soooo my next thing was to contact the Las Vegas Motor Speedway because Eric and I are big racers (he actually does a lot of racing himself, and pits for a lot of people he knows).... most of our racing involves dirt tracks but we do occasionally do stuff at the Iowa Speedway. Anyhow... the lady out at the LVMS emailed me back and we're trying to figure out some details. So if they aren't TOO expensive, we're going to get married there!

My NEXT choice is the Carroll Shelby museum, because are both big Shelby fans.

There are a few other museums on the list but hopefully we don't have to get to them. :)
