There are hundreds, if not thousands, of books on wedding planning.
It's probably impossible to ask what is the best. So, I'll ask
if you would please share what you have experienced as being very
helpful, both in terms of actually planning and in terms of listing what
traditional roles and obligations have been (buying gifts for
bridesmaids and so forth).
I'm actually being serious on that one. THere were a ton of women on here who had just planned, just gotten married and they were invaluable. Many of them are still here. Some are now even professional planners. All were very willing to read my questions and offer advice. I did have a planner, but I didn't use it much. It was mostly a place where I kept cutouts, pictures, drafts of things, for us to keep for later.
