Does anyone know where i can buy dresses in Jamaica or Grand Cayman.?? All the designers i have seen do not sell in the caribbean!! help me please! my wedding is in july and i still do not have a wedding dress
I wrote to you on your previous post, but I don't think you've seen it, so I will copy and paste what I wrote there.
Hello MissSueBee! Congrats on your upcoming wedding! I think it's
awesome that you are getting married in J., I really think you will
like it there.
Okay, so you want a good dress. You could take a chance on local
vendors and shops, but I wouldn't recommend that. You could end up with
a dress that you settled for, and didn't have the time to get altered
to your shape. If you want to do that, that is entirely up to you.
Personally, I'd try online shopping -
www.etsy.com (You can put an ad out and request a certain dress, and
someone will make it for you, exactly to your specifications)
www.unique-vintage.com (They sell REALLY cute wedding/bridesmaids/prom
dresses that aren't crazy formal; perfect for a beach wedding)
www.hm.com (It's hit or miss, but you never know)
www.modcloth.com (Some more really cute, more casual sundresses)
www.ebay.com (It's ebay. Everything is there.)
If you give us more of a description of what kind of dress you want,
then I know there are at least three girls on this board (besides me)
who could help you find either exactly what you want, or something
Love me when I least deserve it, because that is when I need it the most. (Swedish proverb)
Jamaica has a few wedding dress designers, however I would suggest that if you want the perfect fit and all the things that matters for a proper wedding dress, then you would have to start making arrangements from now.
Where in Jamaica do you plan to celebrate your wedding?
