I also was a victim of the Knot boards. I now lurk the Knot boards. Sometimes I post on there if I have some advice, but that is very slim. But here at Brides, it's so much better.

immediately noticed a difference between this board and the one at The Knot. I asked
a question over there asking for comparison between the big city experience vs.
weddings in more rural areas and someone told me I should take my question to my
local board instead of the general one. Then an argument ensued as others tried
to defend my general question being posted on the general question page. In the
end most of the thread was about whether or not I posted my question in the
right place. Totally useless. I rarely post there.
