I'm thinking something like the bride of frankenstein, but with a more modern twist like the dresses in the black.

The groom's outfit.

Beaker cakes with green jello slime on top put nicely into a cupcake tower.

LOVE the green jellybean test tubes or love potions for favors and the specimien cards for invitations.

Make your own test tube drinks

Drinks would be my favorite Martini, It's called a grashopper Martini. Peppermint schnapps, creme de cacao and milk..

F0r table placecards you could assign people based on the periodic table

Ok that's about all I could come up with.

Next theme: King and Queen of Hearts - not like Alice in Wonderland since that's already done. Think Playing Cards.

Anybody, anybody?? Please. I just discovered this thread and LOVE it. Would like to keep it going, and really want to see someones interpritation of this theme.

Playing Cards themed Wedding:

Obivously the enterntainment during the reception would be casino games. (Black Jack, other card games)

Favors would be a personalize deck of cards.

Ceremony would take place infront of this house haha:

Bridesmaid or even Bride if she didn't watn a real dress:

This crazy veil with some added red & black beading for the card colors:

Vintage Wedding Beauty - Queen of Hearts

These are little soaps that could be favors:

The invitations and programs would look like playing cards.

For centerpieces, I would have red, black, and white flowers arranged in the shapes of hearts, spades, diamonds, clubs.

Another favor option:

These frames are pretty. But I think they would also be pretty if this idea was used for coasters or even napkins.

Mugs for the coffee bar:

Centerpieces that could double as top winners in the casino games prizes to take home

Yet another favor idea:

To throw @ the Bride & Groom for the exit:

Place card holders:

On a more serious note though. If I was honestly wanting to do my wedding being card themed. I would take the colors (red, black, white) from it. I would still have casino games @ the reception and give out decks of card as favors, but I would do something a little classier:

Hee hee, those are fun!

I'm thinking of having the more classy themed playing cards theme for our wedding (whenever that may be) in a round about way I met my SO because I found an Ace of spades sticking out of the snow one day.

Ok, so what's the next theme?

Beeble, you did an awesome job on that mad scientist theme, and I love what WinterWonderland did with the card game theme. Technically WinterWonderland was supposed to pick a new theme for us, so unless she wants to pick a new one, I'll throw one out there.

How about we go for something for the kid in all of us?

Wedding theme: "Where The Wild Things Are", the children's book we all read when we were little.

Love me when I least deserve it, because that is when I need it the most. (Swedish proverb)
