I was wondering what everyone's something borrowed is/are. We went to my FIL's house today and my FMIL let me borrow the most beautiful jewelry that belonged to her mother! It's a gorgeous bracelet, earrings and necklace from the 1940's! I was ecstatic and honored that she let me borrow these beautiful pieces of art. What is everyone else doing for their something borrowed?

My crinoline and shoes are borrowed from my Mom from her wedding. My aunt offered for us to borrow her toasting flutes as she thinks everyone should have nice toasting flutes, so that too.

I'm borrowing a veil from the daughter of a friend of my mom's. She had bought it for her wedding but ended up wearing a different one, so her mom offered it to me.

I was really wondering what I was going to do with this tradition.... At first I had purchased blue shoes to cover that area, but then returned them. So... I was back to square one... of course my new is my dress. But for old, borrowed and blue, my mom is taking a blue ribbon and tying her wedding ring, both my grandmother's wedding rings and my great grandmother's wedding rings to it. I will tie this to the inside of my dress. I love the idea!!!!
