The center diamond is a 1 ct round cut that was my great great grandmother's. My fiance and I reset the stone in a Mark Patterson setting. I absolutely love it and it means a lot to me that it has been passed down through 3 generations!

I agree, my engagement ring is beautiful but he had it altered to fit the stone and any ring I put next to it doesn't sit flushed. It looked so weird with the gap. He suggested to get a new ring designed that we both love (the rose gold matches his own wedding band) and I am going to turn my engagement ring into a right hand ring which I hope to pass down one day.

Well as long as he suggested it LOL

Looks beautiful though!

Technically not an engagement ring... I bought this for myself. A gorgeous 1.90 ct Asscher in G color and VVS2 clarity. 2.65 total weight with the diamonds in the halo setting and side diamonds. She is a beauty. And I love it.

I cant for the life of me get a good picture of my ring haha. Its a 3 stone round quarter carat t.w ring in 14k gold. It sounds small but we're young and on a tight budget. its a gorgeous ring though and I absolutely love it. FH got it on clearence at Zales for around $125 :) I'm not sure about the clarity or color. One of the diamonds looks a little darker than the other ones in low light, but they all sparkle nicely in sunlight. All of you ladies have such beautiful rings! This is a fun thread!

I got mine super cheap from zales also! Check their web site to see if they have a stock photo of it. Mine is technically a "promise ring" but i love it and it was only $150!

I couldn't get a picture on here and I saw that others using Firefox also had issues so I'm just posting a link to the stock photo of my ring from Kay. I think its gorgeous. We got engaged while both of us were in college (I still am, he's not) so not a lot of money to spend. I didn't know anything about it until I found it on the website but I don't really care. Not sure what to do about a wedding band. I can't find any that look good with this ring, so any suggestions are welcome.

cute! you could just do a white gold band or maybe one with chanel set stones would be cute with it. Congrats!

That is the neatest idea! How neat it is to know the centre stone was worn by your grandma, yet the setting is "you". Very pretty ring and a neat story to go along with it!
