I'm wearing my great-grandmother's pearls and I was wondering if dangling matching pearls with a little diamond accent would be too much, or should I just go with the pearl stud instead?

Without seeing a pic of the earrings, necklace and your dress, I'd say stick with simple studs. You don't want to clutter up your look too much, especially if your dress has a lot of detailing.

I'm a huge fan of pearls, so I would be matchy-matchy in this situation. I truly don't think that you can go wrong with pearl earrings & necklace =)
