A little over a year. Though I've known him for 6 years and he was my best dude bro friend _.

lol it happened randomly at the house after I had been crying about something dumb, he goes D: NO DONT CRY HOLD ON, then came in and asked me...I cried but for a different reason

We became friends in July of 2008, became a couple in November of 2008, and became engaged in September of 2009. :) So over a year of knowing each other but only 10 months of dating. We just knew. I was actually ready to marry him alot sooner then he was ready to ask me to marry him. :D

Almost eight years. However, we were engaged three days after the first day we could legally get married.

We had been dating for three weeks when he took me ring shopping. He proposed exactly three weeks ago (10/26), just a few days short of our ten month anniversary.

14-15 months give or take. We pretty much started dating right away, but our first official date was in September.

I dated my husband for 6 months before we got engaged. Then 6 months later we were married. I know some people think that is to short. Buy the time I got married to my husband it was 1 year that I knew him.

My FH and I have been dating almost 3 years and he proposed about 2 weeks ago. We also moved in together after about 9 months. We had been talking about marriage from very early on, but this year things have been incredibly crazy so I wasn't expecting it. We have had 4 deaths in the family (his grandmother who raised him, mother, grandfather, and my mother's sister) we bought a house, he has had 2 surgeries (one because they thought a lymph node was cancerous, and in the process they cut a nerve, so he had a 2nd surgery to correct it), and is currently not able to work. If we had gotten engaged before all of this I don't know if I could make it through it, but we have grown so much over the past year I have no doubt that we are strong enough to get through the difficult times. We are plainning a January 2011 wedding, so we will be together 4 years before getting hitched.

We knew right away we wanted to be together forever but I was only 20 and he was 22 when we started dating. He proposed 3 years and 2 months after our first date on Sept. 25, 2009! These have been the best 3 years and I'm glad we waited. We have had so much fun being bf and gf and we know eachother really well, I know he is going to be an amazing husband!

My fiancee and I date for a 6 months before he popped the question... And of course, I said YES. I know 6 months seems like a short time, but I just knew that he is my soul mate.
