color palette HELP
Posted: Nov 12, 2009 8:30 PM

I need help. My fiancee and I are not color people. We are having a royal themed wedding and was only using the colors champagne (more copper like) and Ivory. I am having a hard time making the dresses and tux work. I have two MOH that I am trying to have different dresses to set them apart (probably in one color). The BM dresses that I picked out have sashes. So far the guys are in ivory tux with champagne vest (only because my fiancee dont want black). Any other suggestions? I would really like to see any pictures of this simple palette.

It simple but so hard to piece together nicely.

dear Chardae,

I have a great idea. Go to a paint store and get paint chips of your chosen colors. Then, lay them out on a table and look at them side by side. See what looks good to you.

You might also look at a website I use in web design work: .

They have a lot of info on how to make colors work together. (Primary, complimentary, etc)
