oh, maybe you ladies can help me out with this... i bought two of these things at the thrift store. they fit exactly with the look we're going for but we don't know what they are or what to use them for... any ideas? they're wire/metal with old dirty white paint that's chipped off in places... i like the rustic look!

annarebeccal, that vine thing is beautiful! How big is it? Because it looks like it's a foot or two... If it was smaller, I'd say it held a wine bottle. Maybe you could find a way to stack/glue wine bottles in there anyway. Long branches would look nice too, but they might clash since the structure is a vine and you'd be putting some other branch in there. You might also be able to fill it with a satin fabric (probably of a lighter color) or maybe a more rustic-looking fabric that wouldn't clash.

Edit: I just looked at it again, and I seriously doubt fabric would work--I thought the sides were closer together. But I'm sure you will figure something out, even if you don't find out its original use.

Annarebecca (I think), could you use them as sign holders? Or maybe hang response cards or well-wish card from them with ribbon? They're very unique!

Here's a sample of the bouquets I'm doing for my beach wedding... It started out as a DIY and now I'm selling them because they're so much fun to design. I'm doing a lot more DIY for our wedding but it's too early to start most of it. It's neat to see what everyone else is doing!

I don't know what on earth happened to my third pic, I'll try to post another...

TheLuckiest, that is really cute! I love how the wrap looks kid of like a sea shell/cone!

AnnaRebecca (I think...whoever has those vine things?), are you having a seating chart? If so, you could hang the escort cards from them in cute ribbon or with clothespins, depending on how sturdy they are.
