I'm (hopefully) getting married in CR in Nov 2011. Anyone else choose this tropical paradise?
How is your planning going? Where r u going etc...
My cousin was planning on having a DW there but after she found out all of the things they had to go through to get married there they decided to go somewhere else. Have you looked into all that yet?
All you need is a passport to get married there.
No waiting time, you can get married the day you arrive.
No blood tests,
Just sign a document swearing you are legally allowed to marry, and give them copies of your passports and copies of your witnesses passports.
If divored or widowed u need copies of those documents but I believe that is all you need.
I found this link, but have the same infor repeated to me by several travel agents and wedding coordinators
