Howard you are absolutely my favorite guy on brides.com. Even if there were more than two of you in any given week I am certain you would still be my favorite.

I loved the NTSB Report on this Train Wreck. What can you do on the Porn thread?

Funkybride, do me a favor and picture a friend of yours giving someone advice. Not rudely, perhaps a bit sarcastic, but good, solid advice. Now picture the person getting the advice going off and calling your friend a bitch. Would you not speak up to defend your friend?

Look, a lot of people's first post isn't sunshine and roses. My first post drew both support and criticism. However, I didn't call the people who disagreed with me bitches. I didn't scream and pout. And I now have several friends here. Had I flown off the handle and yelled at anyone who didn't agree with me, I would know these warm, wonderful women.

And yes...I was the one who first had the idea that funkybride and anitabeer may be the same person. I still think it's a possibility. I just find it a little coincidental that the first person on here to support the OP has the same exact wedding date and both are from PA. Sure, it could be a coincidence, but it certainly makes me wonder!!

Heidi - Wasn't trying to call you out, was just not taking credit either. I also think it's still a possibility.

No problem, PTG. I would've posted it earlier if my computer at work wasn't being a dillweed. :)

Wow, at first I was totally going to halfway side with you but then, just on the first page alone, all hell broke loose! I skipped to page five as I don't need to read a childish drama fight between you and whoever else to see if it had calmed down enough to merit some advice from someone going through the EXACT SAME THING! Well sorta =)

We are getting married Friday. Yup, you heard me 8/7/09. We have told the only GM a month ago to get fitted for a tux. We have the BM, MOH, 1 Bridesmaid and one GM. Last week, I went through the effort of finding the only place in town that will do a fitting alone and offered to pay the $3 to have it done so he can call us and we can order his tux over the phone through the same company we aer getting the other tuxes through. Last weekend, my FH went on his bachelor party with the two men. I asked my FH to ask the one GM if he got a fitting done. He came home and said that the GM thinks that it's too much work since I've asked 50 times (I only asked once a week for the last month and two times this last week) but he may consider it. Finally, yesterday, at 2 pm he said he'd rather be a guest. Wow, now it's too late to replace him or take the BM out, not that we'd do that. The girls already have their dresses. So what did we do? We just had the BM stand at the alter with my FH. Girls walk alone. Perfect.

Seriously, it's not that big of a deal. As a bride who's had that said to her a lot of the time, I can understand that it's frustrating hearing that. Especially if it's along the lines from your FH of "I love you, I want to SAY that to you now but you are making it tough. It's. Not. That. Big. Of. A. Deal."

Just trust me, in the end, is it worth having a huge family fight over?

Also, money issue? My mom has paid for NOTHING in this, I myself? Have paid for 75% of it. FIL about 25% and the rest is FH, and MIL. So there ya go.

All that really matters is that you are vowing to spend the rest of your life with your husband (I hate hearing that too LOL) But they are right. I seriously considered last Sunday just runnign off and getting hitched and not caring how the actual day went on Friday cause we were already married.

Take a deep breath and do what you can with what you are given.
