I had a nightmare last night about my dress!! For some reason I wore my
dress to work LOL. No one seemed to notice cuz no one started at me. I
had to walk around work with a heavy long wedding dress on and then
lunch time came....dun dun dun....I spilled juice, ketchup, and other
stuff all over my dress. I was worried that the stain wouldn't come
off! Then I woke up and I was like, whew it was only a dream.

Before I even bought the dress I used to have nightmares that I forgot
to get my wedding dress and so I had to walk down the isle in jeans and
regular clothes. I figured I had those dreams cuz I was anxious in
getting my dress. Well now that I have my dress I am still having dress
nightmares, but this time it's damage done to the dress! My goodness,
when will the nightmares stop?! hahaha.

Cheetah- I haven't had any nightmares or even dreams about the wedding yet. I hope that the nightmares stop for you!

I have been thinking about getting cupcakes for our wedding and displaying them on a tiered stand of some sort, like this -

I really like this cake tho -

It'll probably be an easy decision in the end. This cake probably costs like $1,000. That's how my luck works! LOL

I showed my FH the pic of the cake with the mushrooms and he said that he wants a ThunderCats cake. He was not joking!!

Lydia....thats what a grooms cake is for!! You can have the bakery (even a grocery store bakery can do this for cheap!) make up a small sheet cake that he can have designed to have a Thundercats theme! (Or, you could do it for the rehersal dinner or something)

I have a question....whats with the mushrooms though? Do you just like mushrooms? lol

im making my FH a grooms cake. he loves beer and reading about it. kind of like a wine lover but with beer. im going to try and make it look like a mug full of beer. he'll love it!

as far as the first dance, our song for the last 3 years has been "wonderwall" by oasis(one of his favorite bands) and its perfect.

Amy...

On October 9th, 2010, I will be Mrs. Anthony J. Fiore!

Our first song will be "Broken" by Seether and Amy Lee. (I think, still not 100% sure).

Lydia I LOVE the cupcakes shown in that pic. I'm not a fan of mushrooms lol.

Nobody likes those mushrooms!! My FMIL and my mom both HATED that cake. I just thought that it went perfectly with the rustic/forest theme that I was going for, and I really liked it.

I wanted to put the girls in mocha or emerald dresses and no one likes that idea either. I said cupcakes to my mom and she looked at me like I was insane. She thinks that I have to have a big cake.

Now I have to rethink everything. I know that it's my wedding but it would be nice to have some ideas that everyone else will like too.

And we are not going to have a Thunder Cats cake! I just thought that it was funny that he wanted one. We are not having a groom's cake.

I'm trying to pick between two Tim Mcgraw songs... My Best Friend, and It's your Love. If anyone wants to take a listen to them both and let me know their opinion that would be great!

We are deciding between Rascal Flatts "God Bless the Broken Road" or "Keeper of the Stars" I think that's by Tracy Byrd, for whatever reason I can't remember right now!

We're going with Love Me Tender by Norah Jones and the very last song to be played is I want to grow old with you by Adam Sandler.

To love another person is to see the face of God.

samantha- I think either song is great! Both are good, so its a tough choice. My Best Friend is actually "our song", but im not sure if we will use it or not. Which one does your FH like better?

Lydia- I think the thing with the mushroom cake is that, well, its mushrooms on a cake! lol. it looks cute, but just thr thought of eating mushrooms with cake is kind gross. lol. (I know your not eating them, or that they wont be mushroom flavored, but do you see what I mean?)

I like the cupcake idea! i think its cute! I just think your mom and future mil are just the older generation that thinks every wedding has to be the same old boring standard. You could do pie instead! Or, just a dessert station. You could just have a small 8" cake that you and FH cut, and then a dessert table with cookies, pie, cupcakes, pastries, cake, etc.

And, if you want a woodsy theme, there are lots of other things you could put on the cake. like leaves, and flowers are still woodsy too. or make it look like moss maybe? or add butterflies...sunflowers...or birds....or trees.....theres lots of things!

oh...and i LOVE mocha dresses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we are actually having brown tuxes!!! and, im not sure if my girls will be in brown yet or not.

I sat down and figured out a new plan for our wedding. We are going to have a HALLOWEEN wedding now. Everyone that I've told so far about it has been pretty excited. Me too!!
