The Week of DEATH....mua ha ha ha
Posted: Jun 28, 2009 2:38 PM

First it was Ed McMahon....dead at 86. natural causes....old as dirt

Next Farrah Fawcett....dead at 62. natural causes....cancer

Not to be outdone by another star, Michael died later that day....50. causes unknown.

Today, Billy Mays is also reported dead at 50. causes unknown at this time. I'm pissed. I actually started to like this nutjob on the show Pitchmen.

I just think this is the most "famous" people I remember dying in one week.

I can't believe that Billy Mays is gone too. I really liked him and I watch Pitchmen every week. I feel so bad for his family (he has a very young daughter and an adult son). Late night infomercials will never be the same.

This has definitely not been a good week. In addition to all the celebs that have passed this week, my friend's grandfather also unexpectedly passed. I'm with you Mush, I don't ever remember this many celebs dying in this short amount of time. It's crazy.

If you go back a couple of weeks and add in David Carradine, that makes it five--that's a lot for a short time! I guess we'll have to start a "Celebrity Births" thread for balance.

I liked Billy Mays as well. He lived in my hometown. I saw his daughter on the last episode. She was super cute.

Yes, I agree that this is a FREAKY death week.

Add another death we missed.....Mia Farrow's brother, Patrick, also joined the choir invisible.

I'm sad about Billy Mays too! I've been watching Pitchmen when it first aired and really started to like that show.

They mentioned the plane he was flying home on yesturday had it's front tires blown out on landing and like luggage and stuff was flying around. They said Billy got hit in the head kinda hard, but he interviewed that he was fine and that he has a hard head. They won't know til the autopsy report comes back, but it is possible that might have played a role in it. But who knows - sometimes when it's your time to go, it's your time to go... at least it sounds like he died peacefully in his sleep.

Love him or hate him, you can't help but miss his infomercials or loud booming voice...

Friends since December 1997, together since December 2006
September 13, 2008 I legally became his and he became mine.

More like the month of death. Add another one to the list.
R.I.P. Karl Maldon. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,529764,00.html

Not exactly shocking. He was 97. But still, all these deaths at once. Weird.

He was in some kickass classic movies. Streetcar Named Desire, On the Waterfront,etc....

Kelley, I can tell you're shaken. You're citing Fox News as a source. Calm down girl. It'll be ok.

I liked Karl Malden, he was in Streets of San Francisco too. That was one of my favorite tv shows a very young and sexy Michael Douglas was in that one.

LOL Luva. It was just the first thing that popped up when I did the google search on him dying.
I didnt really look at which news article it was, just wanted to put one there. Too funny.
