Our wedding is set for 10/8/10, so there is a LOOOONG way to go lol. I have planned a ton of stuff and booked some vendors already, but I think its good that I'm ahead since I'll be starting a new job this fall and will have a lot less time on my hands for wedding details (sadly). But you better believe I am going to post ALL my pictures and also work my way into the "real weddings" category of the site as soon as the whole thing actually goes down.

I loved both of your SIL's shoes. Of course cause I'm a shoe fanatic, I noticed not only the cute pink heels but also the slippers peeking out from her dress as your brother dipped her during the dance. I am torn about ballet flats. I know they're the practical choice, but the idea of stepping on my beautiful dress it so upsetting! Also, I'm tiny, so I need the boost.

Did she spend a lot on her wedding day coordinator? I am not having a planner because I'd rather obsess over it myself and spend the money on something else, but I can see how a day-of coordinator could really help relieve some of the stress on the big day. I didn't even know those types of planners existed till this week.

And just to make you feel better for crying during Marley & Me, I got the paperback kids' version of the story to read aloud to my fourth graders. Now of course, I have the bad habit of always skipping straight to the end of the book and reading the last few pages because I can't wait to find out what happens. Well, I was doing this while some students in my class worked on something else, and I started to cry so obviously that I had to hold the book over my face so the kids wouldn't think I was a total nutcase. Yeah, there is definitely something weird about my crying habits lol!

Also having a wintry theme...in south fl (ironic, I know). Our colors are navy, ice blue, and white. We're having tall, all white centerpieces made up of white branches with some white flowers, crystals, and votives hanging down. The florist is also doing an ice effect in the vases that hold the centerpieces. The linens will be a dark rich navy to contrast with the centerpieces, and we will have icy blue uplighting to make it feel like its snowing. We are giving out silver snowflake bookmarks and a stick of rock candy (looks like ice!) for favors. The girls are also wearing navy and carrying light blue hydrangeas.

For the ceremony I'm thinking about doing a navy blue aisle runner, but am not sure yet....it does look stunning but I think it may be too much with the girls also in navy. On either side of the aisle there will be 6 columns with more tall white branches but this time with only crystals and no votives or flowers.

Aaah I think thats about it....I might also get an ice sculpture but those suckers are expensive and don't really serve a purpose!

Hi everyone! Well this is a lot different for me!! My husband I have been married 12 years, going on 13 this August! He is spanish I'm just a white chick he met and fell in love with!! We are actually planning a vow re-newal next year!! We had the most ugliest wedding( sorry babe) !!!! I have been telling my husband I would like for us to have this vow re-newal and do it spanish themed!!! We got married by a probate judge,in our gravel driveway, the "dress" was so ugly it was not what I wanted, he had borrowed a suit that had belonged to his grandfather from the 1980s!!!! We had our reception in our gravel driveway, and it rained and people had to leave cause we only had our trailer and there was not enough room for everyone to make it inside!!! SOOOOOOOOO!!!! After all these years we are gonna have the ceremony and party that we missed out on!! I was hoping there might be some of you that might have suggestions and ideas for having this themed party!! What kind of centerpieces? what type of flowers ? I have started some research and found out that spanish brides used orange colored blossoms because it signified something, I forgot now. SO anyone with ideas would be greatly appreciated. I thought about putting margarita glasses on the tables but don't know what to put in them!! And of course gotta have maracas!!Thanks again!!

I'm thinking about a "rainbow theme". I'd like to have my bridesmades dress in 7 different colors. I was also considering a tropical paradise theme, but my fiance doesn't like the idea.

My vender, has a wedding planner for me, it is included in the package, and also they will all be set up for xmas, so there is not 2 much more I have to worry about. Just thinkingthough, do I really need special lighting? Also I think I might go for the snowflake theme intwined.

We are doing a victorian lace and garden themed wedding with french undertones (the fleur-de-lis and toile) to celebrate future hubby's heritage and last name, with colors Sage Green, Pale Yellow, and Pale peach:

It's not actually a "theme" wedding but there is one recurring theme in my decorations, invitations, cake, etc. and it's a bride and groom dancing on or under a crescent moon. It was hard to find things, but they are out there.

My wedding is an Old Hollywood Glamour theme in the winter. Black tie affair with table number named after classic Hollywood movies. Lots of black and silver set in a gorgeous historical mansion. Sparkling faux snow and crystals will be scattered about and clear and silver and white ornaments will be strung above the black and white cake. My favorite flower, the stargazer lily, will act as a pop of color in my bouquet and a single bloom at each place setting.

I am also planning an Alice in Wonderland, Mad Hatter Tea Party themed wedding for one of my clients. This one is so fun. All the attendants and the bride and groom are dressed as characters from the movie. The bride and groom are Alice and the Mad Hatter. The mid of honor and the best man are the Queen of Hearts and the March Hare. The bridesmaids are the talking flowers and the groomsmen are Tweedle Dee and Twedle Dum. The officiant is even dressing up as the White Rabbit.

Another client of mine is doing a Spanish Flamenco theme inspired by Frida Kahlo with bright colors and a pinata instead of a bouquet or garter toss.

All these wedding are coming up in 2010 but check out my blog for sneek peaks, updates, and then the photos from the big day. I am a wedding coordinator who specializes in theme weddings so keep checking for more fun themes and great ideas for your own them.

If you need ideas for your theme, feel free to send me a message.

For the LONGEST time, I wanted to have a Beauty and the Beast themed wedding, until my FH delicately pointed out to me that he wouldn't appreciate being portrayed as a "beast" on his wedding day. LOL!

But I would have done this dress with red roses as my flowers (like the rose that Beast has in his secret room!) in glass domes. I think it would be fun to do candlestick centerpieces (for Lumiere) and have a watch-theme in the stationary (for Cogsworth!)
