It really hasn't been too bad at all! The first day was the worst. I came home and went straight to bed. I had such a hard time getting out of bed that my future husband had to help me out of bed and into the living room so I could be comfortable. I slept on our big recliner the first night and he got up several times to give me my meds and new ice packs. Yesterday I felt pretty good. Still needed some pain med but aside from that I was able to function. Today was the best day of all. I really didn't need to take any medication. My maid-of-honor came over to help me out today and also helped me clean off some of the iodine that was left on me from the surgery (I owe her big time). I still have a little pain and it's only when I try to push myself up with my arms when I'm sitting down. The pressure only lasted the first day and I don't feel any now, just mild pain. I can't believe how fast everything is healing. Thank goodness since I start my dress fittings on the 27th of June!! :-)

Thats great! so glad everything went well for you. I think they look comical for the first couple months. i remember mine looking like mini torpedos ahaha they were up so high and looked crazy. Good luck to ya! have fun shopping in a few months...its such a good feeling to finally look normal in clothes. =)
Ha, ha! Love the comment about the torpedos! It's true too! I fully anticipated that since my plastic surgeon told me that they place the implant a little higher than where it should be to account for gravity after the muscle relaxes. But so far so good. I'm finally off all of my pain meds and muscle relaxers so I think in a couple of months I should be back to normal. I have my post surgery appointment tomorrow so I guess that will give me a better idea of how long it should take. I really can't wait to buy normal bras and go clothes shopping again. For once I won't leave a store being frustrated that an extra small is too big!!
