Marrying into a Catholic family.

FMIL suggested St. Francis Hymn for the ceremony and I love it! Plus we are using Ave Maria.

We are not doing a mass since my FH is not Catholic, but here is what we are planning on doing.
Prelude to Te Deum by Marc-Antoine Charpentier
We Will Dance by Steven Curtis Chapman
Flower Duet from Lakme by Leo Deilbes
Other Side of Me by Michael W. Smith

These are all prelude songs. The We Will Dance and the Other side of Me I found by looking at contemporary christian music and there are often christian song books that you can pick music out of too. I'm also using some classical music as well since I'll have a brass trio, a violin, flute, and piano player at my wedding as well.
Here's what I've choosen for the ceremony:

Procession of Parents: Air from Water Music Suite by Handel

Procession of Bridal Party: Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring

Bridal Procession: The Prince of Denmark's March by Clarke

Psalm: Psalm 136: Love is Never Ending- in the gather book - We use a big blue book that says Gather on it in our church. Your church hymnals would also be a good place to start.

Gospel Acclamation: Celtic Alleluia from Gather book

Rite of Peace: Love Never Fails by Ken Canedo and Jesse Manibusan- This piece is from a book called Spirit and Song that our choir uses which is all contemporary christian music. You can go to spiritandsong.com to listen to some music and get some ideas.

Recessional: Rondeau by Mouret

Hi! Make sure you check with your church, some have very strict rules about the inclusion of secular music of any sort (even things like the wedding march).

That being said, for my wedding, the music is tentatively this:
Processional: Pachalbel's Cannon in D
Gathering: In This Place (Trevor Thomson, Victoria Thomson)
Gloria:Gloria from the Mass of Light (David Haas)
Psalm: Fill Us With Your Love O Lord (Craig and Kristen Colson) http://www.spiritandsong.com/musicondemand/songs/76044
Alleluia: Mass of a Joyful Heart (Steve Angriasano)
Preparation of the Gifts: How Beautiful (Twila Paris) http://www.spiritandsong.com/musicondemand/songs/30947
Litany: The Litany of Saints
Mass Pieces (Sanctus, Great Amen, Lamb of God): Mass of a Joyful Heart (Steve Angriasano)
Communion: The Servant Song and One Bread, One Body
Reflection:Gratitude (Nicole Nordeman)
Recessional: Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring

Hi there! FH and I are both catholic and will have a traditional catholic ceremony. We will incorporate traditional Hispanic elements into the ceremony such as the lasso and the exchange of coins. We will also offer Mother Mary a bouquet of flowers and will most likely use the music "Ave Maria" for this. We haven't selected the rest of our music yet because it's still somewhat early in the planning process but I'm very excited about that! :)
