Any ideas for favors?

We're having a cocktail/hors d'veauours/dancing type of reception. Our colors are espresso and orchid. Any ideas for some cute, fun favors?

Im getting little white favor boxes and filling them with hugs and kisses and putting a cute little label on it that says "A box full of hugs and kisses from the Mr. and Mrs.". I got that from an episode of Bridezillas!

I am having a signature drink. Found it on :

http://www.myownlabels.com/Giftbasket-June.htm

Everyone can have a bottle and drink it at the reception or take it home. That link has the website for the bottles too. So, far I have purchased the bottles. Still need to get the label. For 180 people it will be $260. Still need to factor in the booze. I will have a bootleggin party at my parents house a few days before the wedding to get all the bottles filled up.

That website has other really great ideas too.

Chocolate covered espresso beans would be cute, or what about some mini espresso cups? http://www.beau-coup.com/mini-tea-sets.htm.

How about a bottle stopper as a guest favor? I think they would fit well into the theme you described. I love the practicality of a bottle stopper. It's always great to give a favor your guests will actually take home and use afterward.

This LOVE chrome bottle stopper is so classic and would make a great guest favor!

Congratulations!

Hi Unica,

I love your colors! I think you should make a donation in your guests names to a foundation/cause of your choice. You'll be supporting a good cause, and anyway who really needs a trinket with someone elses name on it?? Not that I am against favors, I am a sentimental person.....and I keep favors in a memory box or use them. Unfortunately most people are not, and will only throw them away eventually, if they take them at all. Well thats my opinion anyway..... good luck! and keep us posted on your decision.
