No one is making fun, Texas. I guess we just don't understand the situation - do you have to have his mother's permission for him to be married? Like... legally?

I dont remember anyone saying anything bad or mocking your fiance.
We are simply pointing out that you are two adults who have been dating for 13years, as you have told us many times in your posts.
So, whatever his mother thinks of you, that shouldnt stop you from getting married.
Unless there is more to this story that youre not sharing.
Your posts are a bit .... well.... random... so its hard to say.

Everyone, take a look at her other posts - they are all on the same topic. I do believe she is for real but I also think it's possible she might also have a learning disability. She said he was slightly autistic and her other posts talk about how the future MIL hates her. In this post, her MIL doesn't want her to get married, but she talks about having a June wedding this year. She also said in one of her posts that her first e-ring was taken from her. How does someone just take away your e-ring? Only a parent could do that so maybe she is still under parental custody (hence my suposition that she has a learning disability, etc.).

She probably would be offended if we told her the truth. It sounds like grade school to me. Asking people if they think her boyfriend is cute?

well the prb is she doesnt like me. he does wanna marry me deep down inside his heart. and where goin to anyways. i dont care what his mom thinks. and this is not a joke. i too have a learning disabilty. we both cant help it the way we are. bellive me im not bein mean on here or anything else. i just wanted to share a pic of the man im gonna marry. and we dont need his moms permission to get married. how would u all feel if your enagement ring was takin away from you? ive already been through two enagement rings already. and also it doesnt matter how big u are, its what in your heart that counts.

his mom of course. he was forced to take it back where he bought it from. but where planning to get another one. and i dont care what is mom thinks. my enagement ring not hers. u just dont take awaty something that u loved. thats not right at all.

I guess I'm still a little confused. So had he already given you the ring(s) when his mom made him take it back or were they still in his possession? If it already belonged to you, wouldn't you have been the one to surrender to her demand by allowing him to take it back? And if it was still in his possession, how exactly did she make him take them back? Did she physically walk him to the store?

yes. she took him over to where we got the enagement ring. she had no right to take it away from me. that enagement ring was alot of money. but im planning to get another one real soon. no matter what it takes. and he was very upset cause he was forced to take something back he bought me.

I must be pretty dense about this becaus this is what I don't understand: If HE bought it and SHE didn't, why did HE let HER make him take it back. If it was his money, then he let her take it back, she couldn't make him. Why didn't you just keep it? OR did he happen to pay for it with his mom's credit card?

Why doesnt he not tell his mom where he got your ring? She needs to let him grow up, he cant be pushed around the rest of his life. Why dont you just go to the court house and elope, then she cant do anything about it.
Does either of you work?
