Hair challenge

Imaginet that I have a face similar to Belle's (Disney's Beauty and the Beast), for best reference. It's best for hair to frame my face and shoulders, rahter than to leave those bare.

Nothing stays in my hiar properly for more than 20 minutes. Barrettes slide, combs shift and loosen, and hair flies out of ponytails, leaving little fluffy 'tufts' and the hiar in the ponytail begins to look messy.

I can't just leave my hair down; I really need some way to move my long bangs on the sides of my face out of my face. What should I do?

A good stylist can work with any type of hair, I would definitely find a good one in your area through recommendations or even yelp.com so you can read reviews and go in for some trials. Stylists have lots of different types of products to work with all kinds of hair. I have very stubborn hair and it is fine but thick all at the same time, not to mention naturally wavy/curly, but my stylist does things with my hair that I didn't know I could do in the past.
